Lori Cooper
Associate
Lori’s practice focuses primarily on intellectual property litigation, helping clients navigate the process efficiently and effectively. She has experience representing individuals and companies, as both plaintiff and defendant, in patent, trademark, and copyright matters in federal court as well as trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. As part of her practice, Lori participates in court hearings, conferences, and mediations. Lori’s practice also includes IP due diligence, patent prosecution, and opinions.
Lori graduated from the University of North Carolina with a B.S. in Chemistry-Polymer Track.
Lori received her J.D. from University of Connecticut School of Law where she completed the Certificate in Intellectual Property, participated as a student associate for the law school’s Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Law Clinic, and was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Patent Litigation. Lori was also Managing Editor of the Connecticut Journal of International Law.
